Dear Friends,

For the past 34 years, the Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade has brought “A Child’s Holiday Fantasy” to life for our entire community. As this year’s holiday season approaches, the parade committee is now beginning its final preparations for our upcoming event.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization comprised entirely of community volunteers who maintain floats, coordinate entrants, and wear and repair costumes. In order to raise the $20,000 necessary to cover annual operating expenses, we depend solely on our fundraiser “Rock Back the Clock,” float sponsorships, Parade-night necklace sales, and private donations from people like you.

Because of the strong support we received last year, you can look forward to a number of upgrades to this year’s parade, such as:

Complete rebuilds of several aging floats (including Snowman, Jack in the Box, and Teddy Bear);
New animation and more vivid colors for our Music Time float;
New costumes and brighter LED lights for many of our entertaining fairytale characters.

Still, as some of our floats enter their 35th year of service, we are in continual need of funds to pay for renovations. We hope that you will contribute to this unique family event. You can make a donation via PayPal by clicking the "Donate" button at the top of this page.
